My Concern

The number of children who go missing while under the care of Child Protective Services (CPS)—usually while in foster care—is a significant and ongoing concern. Although exact numbers vary by year and by state, national estimates suggest that anywhere from 20,000 to 30,000 children in the foster care system are reported missing each year in the United States and 80% of them end up in sex trafficking.”

Child Protective Services

“The cumulative data paints a sobering picture: while CPS has saved lives and served an essential role in some cases, the system as a whole is not reliably safe. From preventable deaths and trafficking risks to high-profile lawsuits and chronic mismanagement, CPS often fails the children it is meant to protect. The evidence points to a pressing need for nationwide reform, increased transparency, and a rethinking of how we care for society’s most vulnerable population — not just with protection, but with dignity, stability, and real support..”

There Are Better Ways

Better Ways Initiative is about the community. Our families are under attack by entities that are more interested in profit than the well being of our society. My hope is to build a better way to address the problems of the system that is designed to protect our children and remove the proft in place of care.

Healing & Restoration: A Workbook for Mothers Navigating CPS and Family Court Loss

Healing & Restoration: A Christian Workbook for Mothers Navigating CPS and Family Court Loss is a faith-based guide designed to help mothers heal from the deep pain of losing custody of their children. Through scripture-based reflections, journaling prompts, prayers, and practical exercises, this workbook provides a structured path toward emotional, spiritual, and personal renewal. The journey begins with healing in Christ, helping mothers process grief, overcome guilt, and find strength in God’s love. From there, it moves into rebuilding life with faith, focusing on self-care, healthy routines, and community support. Finally, it encourages walking in purpose, turning pain into purpose by using one’s experiences to help others and create a positive future. This workbook is for any mother seeking hope, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose through faith. It serves as a reminder that God is not done with your story—He is writing a new chapter of healing, growth, and redemption.
